Since we adopted her back in December, Kitty has become a integral member of our lives. As I type, she’s rolling around on the ground near me, trying to lure me from the computer. She chases and bothers our old cat Kicia, who deeply despises this new addition. If not for the latter, Kitty would […]
We lost our old cat Marlow close to Halloween. I’ve had that dear cat since I was in college. We all miss him in our daily lives. We’d come home and see Marlow waiting right outside the door, waiting for us. We’ll always miss him but we decided it was time to adopt another kitty. […]
Ever since I was a little girl I have been a cat-lover. I remember growing up on my grandmother’s farm in Poland and having barn cats around. My grandmother’s cat was so good at catching mice, she would be lent out to other neighboring farms! As soon as I was living on my own, I […]
Adam and I have both been fitness fans for a while but sometimes it is hard to fit it in. You know, working full time, cooking, blogging, entertaining, installing hardwood floors on the weekends, gardening. It all adds up. Over Thanksgiving weekend we spent 12+ hours in the car so I finally went through 6 back […]
Oh Marlow, you’re a 14 pounder. The obvious answer is yes, yes indeed your girth is too big for this box. But it is cute to see you try 🙂 Lily attempted to assist but Marlow just walked away in disgust.

Not sure why, but this is suddenly Kicia’s favorite place to sleep. Maybe the Hopper Dog keeps her safe from her evil stepbrother cat Marlow.
Just a few weeks ago the sight of such a large box would have enticed my Lily into just about anything. This evening? She struts in from the car and her response to my excited “do you want to help me open this huge cool package?” Is…and I quote…because I am drafting this post the […]
Oh, to relax and sleep your day away…these are the first four photos of what will be a long series of cat naps. Sorry to all the dog lovers out there. We’re cat people, mainly because cats are easier. Maybe one day we’ll have a big old yard with a big old dog.
Oh kitty cats, come here, kitty kitty kitty…which one will be the victim chosen one? Kicia (tiny brown cat) runs like the wind the slightest disturbance (rustling paper bag = Kicia’s biggest fear) so she was out of that kitchen in no time flat at Lily’s approach. Marlow (big fat white/orange cat) is not so skiddish. Marlow […]
