Do your kids love to read? I have an avid reader in the house with books for her at every corner. I credit an early start for her current love of reading.
National Geographic Kids is the leading nonfiction publisher for kids and the only publisher with the world’s premier scientific, education, and research organization at its core.
Colorful graphics, beautiful photography and rich informative content are hallmarks of its books. NGK’s mission is to inspire kids to learn about the planet and empower them to make it better. National Geographic Kids celebrates National Reading Month (March), which promotes the benefits of reading, and Read Across America Day (March 2)—the perfect opportunity to unplug, read together, read aloud, or find a quiet place for kids to read on their own.
You can visit National Geographic Kids Super Reader website to learn more about ways to make reading fun. Enter to win cool prizes and check out their awesome activities. Watch videos, earn badges and learn about the different levels of readers. National Geographic features books for prereaders and levels 1-3.
I really appreciate that the books provide amazing color photos, facts, and fun on every page because research shows that these are appealing to kids and keep them interested. These topics pique a child’s natural curiosity about the world and keep them interested in reading and learning.
