Hello, everyone! It has been entirely too long since I posted something personal and real, or since I really posted at all! I have been somewhat of a lackluster blogger lately, and I apologize. Personal and professional reasons have gotten in the way of this bobby, but I have to start back somewhere, right?
Lily was dealing with health issues for over the last two+ months and she is FINALLY doing better and getting active. Let me tell you, nothing will stress a mama out like a child that is in constant pain for weeks at a time. She had HSP and it was concerning that we couldn’t do much to help.
On the bright side, we spent a wonderful week together over Christmas in the Bahamas. We stayed on Stocking Island again, a small island off of Exuma. We spent Christmas 2013 here as well and I am READY to book tickets for Christmas 2015. Us accountants like to plan ahead!
Below is an amazing sunset from the home we rented on Stocking Island.
This small secluded beach was a 2 mile hike from where we were staying. We snorkeled and saw some interesting fish and sea cucumbers.
The beach below is one of my favorites. I love the stone and calm waters.
What good is a beach trip without a sand castle? Lily and I had a great time building this one, much to the detriment of my cuticles.
Another day exploring another beach!
The pavilion on the property where we stayed afforded beautiful views.
