Many of you who read my blog know that we love a good DIY project. I have a Handy Hubby section in my header referencing various projects my very handy husband Adam has completed, whether by himself or with my assistance. About two years ago we tore out the cheap carpet in two bedrooms and laboriously installed hardwood teak flooring. This past June during a big storm, a very tall oak tree fell on our master bedroom and inflicted a lot of water damage. I nearly cried when I saw the teak flooring we had so proudly installed by hand get ripped out. It took a while to complete the other repairs, but just last month Adam and I finally finished re-installing the floor in our master bedroom again so we could move our furniture back into our master bedroom despite already having paid a (worthless!) contractor to do it for us (that's another story!!).  I think it looks great, though it probably needs another good clean to make sure all the drywall dust has been removed!

We are big fans of wood flooring and have it installed in our master bedroom and sitting room, our daughter’s room, large entry area and loft area. We also have wood stairs that require care, too. I’m excited to be a Pledge Ambassador and use their products on our wood flooring! Wood flooring covers a very large portion of our home, and I will be taking the Pledge-to-Pledge Challenge over the next month and using the Pledge FloorCare Wood products throughout our house. I’m excited to track the “before and after” with the Pledge FloorCare Wood line of products.

Please note, I am participating in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Pledge. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating. All opinions are my own.  Read more about the products I am using below.

About Pledge FloorCare Wood products
Pledge FloorCare Wood Concentrated Cleaner gently removes dirt and grime while restoring floor’s natural shine. It’s made with almond oil to moisturize wood and restore its natural beauty, and it leaves a fresh scent behind. The concentrated formula makes up to 16 gallons of cleaning solution.

Pledge FloorCare Wood Squirt & Mop is a ready-to-use formula requiring no dilution before use. Its advanced formula removing dirt and grime that builds up over time to maintain a floor’s natural finish with no dull residue. It reveals wood’s natural beauty and leaves a fresh citrus scent behind. Also available in gallon size.

Pledge FloorCare Wood Trigger is a ready-to-use formula designed specifically for spot cleaning. Its advanced formula cleans, shines, restores and protects—with no dulling, oily residue—leaving a fresh citrus scent behind.

Pledge FloorCare Wood Finish goes beyond what you get from other floor cleaning products—this premium finish provides a beautiful, transparent, long-lasting shine and stands up to the wear of heavy traffic without yellowing. It can protect hardwood floors and help prevent dirt from getting trapped in floor grooves and indentations, making cleaning much easier.

I’m excited to try these out! The majority of our wood floors are still very new, but a portion is older. Regardless of age, I think it is important to keep the wood clean. We like to entertain, and after a party the wood can get scuffed in the entry way or on the stairs.

Your floor is gorgeous! I use a steam cleaner, no product - just water. It seems to clean really well.

Wood floors are my favorite!! Hubby favors carpet, so I've only got my beloved wood in one room (the library) but I'll take it!! :) I use steam. I am not adverse to trying Pledge. It's been around since my grandmother's time in my family, so it must be a great brand!
