I am a Google Chrome junkie.  It pains me to have to use Internet Explorer for certain websites, and as a rule I try to avoid it.  Google Chrome makes it easy to use multiple desktops or laptops and retain your favorites.  I love having my personal and work website favorites at my fingertips no matter what machine I log on.  Imagine my surprise when I heard about the new Samsung Series 3 Chromebook...and then one arrived on my doorstep for review!  Yay!  To be honest, I had never heard of the Chromebook and was intrigued to try it out.  The Samsung Chromebook shipped directly from Staples.com.  You can sign up for Staples Rewards to earn 5% back in rewards in-store and online, and get free shipping!

I have had fun this last week trying out the Samsung Chromebook and learning about all of its features.  The computer starts up almost instantaneously after you open it up.  The picture is crisp and clear and there is Norton Anti-Virus protection built in.  I was able to quickly set up the machine and start using it.  This in itself is saying a lot because I normally call my husband over to set up anything related to a computer or other electronics.  I think the most difficult part of the set-up was trying to figure out what our wireless network password was!

After I played around with the Samsung Chromebook for a bit in the kitchen, I put my daughter to bed and then took the computer to the couch.  I quickly noticed how light and portable it is.  The Samsung Chromebook is a mere 2.5 pounds and 0.8 inches thin.  Slim, light and easy to drop in my purse or tote bag for bringing with me where ever I am headed.  I love it!

Despite the tablet craze that has caught on, I really like having a keyboard to type on and the Samsung Chromebook feels like a fancy tablet with a sleek keyboard attached.  No case needed!

The battery life is 6.5 hours which is great for travel.  I also found that the Chromebook also charges quickly.  As I mentioned above, when you purchase through Staples.com, you can get free shipping, plus 5% back for rewards members!

You lucky, lucky girl to get an opp this this one! I am jealous! :) No, you definitely deserve it.

I always use Google Chrome myself. When I was looking at a new laptop, I did my research on this one. Love Samsung products too! My tablet and smart phone are both Samsung! :)

How cool! Netbooks are great for travel. I love my Acer but if I did not already have it, I would definitely buy that sleek Samsung Chromebook! Chrome is my fave browser, too.

Sorry if it seems weird that a guy is entering this! I really really need this, honestly for my parents' computer at their home. It's hectic to take care of my own computer and then take care of my parents' stuff too. They don't really know technology :3
