Ahh, the weekend. I know everyone says you shouldn’t wish your life away, but we sure do look forward to the weekend! We have quality family time, relax, cook and work on projects. This weekend was very productive and fun!
Managed a home manicure that turned out…presentable! Saved time and money 🙂
Colored Easter eggs with Lily. Our favorite colors were blue, purple and pink! Adam got in on the action and helped color a fun bunny face on one of the eggs.
Supported the economy with some shopping. How cute are these bowls? I found them at Marshall’s (shhhh…don’t tell me my mom I shop there!) and now I’ll be scouring every store in the Atlanta area on the hunt for more! I had to get two cat bowls so Lily and I wouldn’t argue over one 🙂
Got a little creative with deviled eggs. Yes, even accountants can get creative!
Prepared snacks for the week. We love our veggies! Baby carrots and chopped bell peppers hit the spot!
Tried a new recipe for egg cups that was DELICIOUS (and easy)! Recipe post coming soon. Thankful for my best kitchen helper!
Experimented with a Jambalaya/Etouffee recipe. Mine included sausage, shrimp and craw fish and was…to die for! Lily said it was “exquisite,” which sure made me smile, both for the compliment and for my 5 year old’s budding vocabulary!
What did you do this weekend? Hope it was a good one!
