As many of you know, cooking is a favorite pastime of mine. I spend the bulk of my weekends in the kitchen chopping, planning, cooking and creating my own recipes as well as following those from cookbooks. Some woman use yoga for therapy – I use cooking! I also like to experiment with items that help me prepare quick and easy meals for our family. The other month I received a delicious assortment of products from SnazzyGourmet.com to test out and we sure enjoyed them!
One of the products we tired was their Curry Simple. I loved the lemongrass coconut soup and followed the easy instructions almost to a tee. I added some fresh vegetables and our family enjoyed the meal for dinner, with leftovers to spare!
We also tried a jar of the Granna’s Gourmet Bread and Butter Pickles – it comes in a 16 ounce jar for $8.49. These are delicious as a snack or on top of sandwiches. I love pickles on pulled pork sandwiches! My favorite thing about this brand was the fact that they are dye-free. I am always searching high and low for pickles that don’t contain Yellow No. 3.
We also tried their Clove Garlic Spicy Cajun Pilaf, and it sure delivered on SPICE! It cooks quickly and has a nice texture and flavor. I think my lips were flaming after taste-testing the dish. We used it as a nice addition to burritos and as a side.
Last but not least we tried the Shortstacks Pancake Mix in Banana flavor. It was light, fluffy and delicious! I like the smaller packaging allows you to try a variety of flavors without getting burned out. I also like that the ingredients include organic flour, banana, organic sugar, vanilla wafers, leavening, baking soda, salt. Guilt free? Why, yes!
Purchase a wide variety of products directly from the Snazzy Gourmet website. I discovered the cool Deal of the Day they have and will be checking that every so often. They also offer FREE SHIPPING on orders over $99. These might make a great gift idea for the foodie lover in you!
