Tooth Fairy Visit Time #WW
At long last, yesterday it was time for the Tooth Fairy to visit. She apparently had nothing smaller than a $5 dollar bill in her stash, and had to resort to four quarters instead, which pleased Lily to no end. Thank goodness the Tooth Fairy was smart enough to realize she couldn't be setting the bar at $5 bucks a tooth!
All went well except for a Tooth Fairy faux pas....she forgot to take the tooth! Luckily, mommy was quick on her feet with some story about how the Tooth Fairy always left the first tooth behind as a souvenir.

When I was a kid I remember being so upset that the Tooth Fairy wouldn't come....because I forgot to tell my mom that I lost a tooth, lol!

So cute!
When I was younger, the tooth fairy left me a handwritten note (in my mumma's handwriting!) saying that all she had was a 20c piece.
Mum swears it never happened, but that memory is imprinted in my mind!

Congrats on the first tooth! The toothfairy has forgotten a tooth or two over the years here also. Thankfully we have always been able to come up with a cover story :)

She is sooo cute!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo! How did she lose a tooth already? OMG growing up. My husband looked at my face while I was reading this and he was like, "omg what?!" haha. I honestly have a little tear in my eye. How old is Lily? I know she isn't too much older than Otto and have to tell you we are not ready for tooth loss over here yet. Now way, no how!
ps. Congrats, if I still get to say that after the above :) xo

Our kids always got $5 for the first tooth and a special present. I think Emily received a Tooth Fairy book and Brad got the DVD Tooth Fairy. Very simple but they loved it. Now they get just a dollar or two for a lost tooth.

I hope the tooth fairy is good to her!

bwuahahahah, nice cover! Love the new smile. :)

That's the way to use your imagination to explain why the tooth was left behind! Lily looks adorable, even with her missing tooth.

A good Mom thinks quick on her feet. The tooth fairy will have to keep more change handy for the next time.

Cute! Unfortunately I gave my daughter $5 for her first tooth, and was kicking myself for that until tooth 8. This is when she saw me doing the Tooth Fairy's job.
Happy WW!

We've found that it doesn't matter how much the Tooth Fairy gives. They love getting anything!
Such a pretty smile she has!
Yep last week I ran out of time to make comments on a lot of WW. My Grandma passed away at 87. We had to drop everything for the funeral to celebrate her life.

Cute post! She is adorable. I bet she was ecstatic to have her first tooth fairy visit! I remember I was! Also, VERY slick move on redeeming yourself when you forgot to pick up the tooth... priceless!
