Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign raises money for local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
Now through June 28, thanks to the annual Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign hosted by Publix and Produce for Kids, shoppers like you can help support local children’s hospitals and get healthy at the same time. From May 31 to June 28, Publix, with the help of participating produce suppliers, will make a donation to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®. The more produce shoppers add to their shopping lists, the more hope they can give to children in the area.
During the campaign, Publix shoppers can look for the Produce for Kids displays featuring the characters from LazyTown, the popular, health-focused, children’s series airing exclusively in the U.S. on 24-hour preschool television channel Sprout. The display units have information about the campaign, participating sponsors and the opportunity to enter the Super-Active Superhero Challenge on produceforkids.com.
Produce for Kids is excited to kick off the Get Healthy, Give Hope campaign this year with a new partnership with Sprout and LazyTown, which educates kids about being active and eating healthy.
“We are excited to be partnering with Produce for Kids on this campaign that encourages healthy eating habits for children byproviding resources that families can incorporate into their daily meal routine, while also supporting a great cause,” said Jim Multari, vice president of marketing, Sprout.
Sprout, available in over 55 million U.S. homes, is a top network among moms of preschoolers. The popular superhero-like LazyTown characters, Sportacus and Stephanie are featured on the in-store displays. Kids can join in the fun by visiting the new Kids Only! section on www.produceforkids.com to partake in healthy eating games and activities, become a Super-Active Super Hero and enter to win awesome prizes.
