My busy time at work is temporarily over, and I celebrated with a day off with my Lily. We made a pan of stuffed pasta shells (some to share with friends who had a new baby), made silly go, hit the Georgia Aquarium, the playground, and spent some time in the yard weeding, cleaning out the pond and checking on our raised garden bed. So grateful for my Lily and me time!
The frog exhibit at the Georgia Aquarium is wonderful – I was really impressed with the variety! Of course the large viewing areas was our favorite, with manta rays, sharks and groupers as the top three. At home, we were excited to have radishes, kale and spinach already sprouting. Now if only we could keep the deer from stomping through our new raised bed! They already ripped out and ate one of my cilantro seedlings. Overall, I am so thankful for my wonderful day with my wonderful little girl. What are you thankful for today?
