Way back when I first met my husband, nearly 12 years ago, we started a journal to chronicle our special moments and fun outings. We quickly abandoned the effort since it seemed rather time consuming. Since Lily was born 4 years ago, I started keeping a calendar where I wrote down fun events, milestones or cute things she said. I thought one day when she was older, she would enjoy reading through her childhood. Recently I was introduced to Journal 10 and love the concept! In a few minutes a day, I can jot down our day’s events and any cute quotes. I keep my Journal 10 in the kitchen and quickly update it at the end of each day or in the morning. I find I am keeping up with it much more timely than I ever did with my calendar. I look forward to filling it up with memories we can read through in the future.
I think Journal 10 is the perfect gift for newlyweds, teenagers, new parents and more. My little sister is getting married later this year and I think one of these would be a great gift for her and her new husband.
Journal 10 is a 10 year Journal, dated each day for the next ten years, very popular with parents, grandparents and anyone interested in recording the details of their lives.
As you make each entry you see what was happening on that day in previous years
Re-reading triggers memories of people, place and events otherwise forgotten
Captures personal and family development and milestones
Takes just 5 minutes a day
No pressure to fill a blank page
Builds over time into a family memoir
