Adam and I have both been fitness fans for a while but sometimes it is hard to fit it in. You know, working full time, cooking, blogging, entertaining, installing hardwood floors on the weekends, gardening. It all adds up.
Over Thanksgiving weekend we spent 12+ hours in the car so I finally went through 6 back issues of Shape magazine. Ripped out workout ideas. Implemented them in the evenings for the whole family. Sounds like a chore but we’re having a blast with it. Below are some photos.
Don’t mind the outfits, we were in our PJs already! We do squats, pull-ups, push-ups, planks (those are hard!), lunges and weight-lifting.
Lily told me before bed “can we do some more tomorrow, I bet I can teach you some great kids exercises!”
Even Kicia the cat seemed to get into it. Frankly, at 7 pounds, she could use to bulk up a bit.
