One of my favorite gardening activities, other than gazing upon gorgeous blooms, is saving seeds. Did you know you can easily save seeds to plant in your own garden from your various edible plants? The easiest of all are squashes, pumpkins or tasty honeydew melon. This below is a “dewlicious” variety and we harvested quite a bit. What we don’t plant or share with friends, we will use in glue art projects.

Lay them out on a dish cloth or paper towel to dry.
Store your seeds in an open jar to make sure they dry properly and to prevent mold. Little kids are great seed sorters!!
