Do you sometimes crave a little excitement or change in your life? Don’t get me wrong, I love my family, job and personal life, but sometimes I need to tackle something new or different.
This year I haven’t really picked up anything “new” outside my recipe blog. I thought about it close to New Year’s, but was unable to come up with any exciting new ideas. Then today, I noticed a friend post something on Facebook about a 1,000 mile running goal over the next year before his 40th birthday. He asked who would join him and 5 minutes later I was on board. Thanks, John, for the fitness motivation! So tomorrow starts the countdown to my 1,000 mile challenge. For my challenge I’m going to try to squeeze in 1,000 miles of running, walking and biking in the next year, starting tomorrow.
