'There it was in big letters for all to see: Recommendation: Adopt.' He really was a nice, special male cat, and he knew soon he would be leaving this small cage for a large, comfortable house with his real name.' A cat temporarily named Linus is living in a cat adoption center dreaming of the day someone will take him home. When a man walks in the center, Linus is sure that he has spotted his new owner. He does everything he can to catch the man's attention: stays in the front of the cage, looks him in the eye, and even reaches his brown paw out to the man . But the man decides to think about his decision and heads out, leaving Linus to wonder when his magical day will come. Come along to see how Mr. Bo Finds a New Home and a New Name.We love to read books - and we especially love books about pets! Lily was interested in reading about Mr. Bo. The story line kept her attention and we talked about how we had come to own our two cats.
I think it's great that Mr. Bo travels to book signings and I can imagine Lily really enjoying seeing the real, live main character. Mr. Bo Books are authored by Timothy Battle and are autographed especially for you. You can purchase them through bookstores near you or directly online from Mr. Bo's website.

We are pet adopters in our large family. so this is a wonderful way of teaching our kids through an animal's point of view, why adopting is the best thing someone can do for a pet.

I have always been an animal lover... unfortunately I am also an allergy sufferer. This has not stopped me living with cats since 1989.
We currently live with three of them and they make my life so much more enjoyable. I love to have little bodies on my lap, little bodies run on my legs... I love the way they all crowd me and yell like I might forget one when it's time for dinner.
Our daughter loves cats too, but lucky for me.. she's not allergic!

I would love to win because I taken in abandoned cats and kittens and nurse them back to health. I then adopt them out to loving homes. It costs a small fortune to do this and I have no help from anyone. This is what I work for and I love do it! RIght now I have 12 that I have taken in. I'd love to read this book! Thanks
