TradingCradles.com Baby & Kid Gear Swap Site Review

If you are a new parent in America, you will probably spend more than $10,000 on your baby in the first year alone.  By the end of that year your baby will have probably outgrown everything three times. The stroller, the crib, the car seat, the wardrobe and much more will find their way into your closet and start to collect dust.

TradingCradles.com is designed to help parents sell or give away that great stuff. After all, it is worth thousands of dollars to somebody!  Our service has three core pillars that will help parents and kids all over the world.

Make it Easy. Selling stuff is fast and hassle free.  Write a 250-character (Twitter-like) ad, post 1 image and in 30 seconds your stuff is ready to sell.  Buying is easy.  No registration, lightning fast browsing and immediate direct contact with the sellers.

Make it Free. The site was designed to help parents save money by offering a great service! Parents can put ads on tradingcradles.com for no cost.  And, unlike other sites, we don’t charge parents when transactions occur.  We simply connect buyers and sellers, in their cities.

Keep it Safe. Safety is one of the most important characteristics of any site that deals with little ones. Our parental team approves every ad before making it available on the site.

Want to learn more or search the local inventory of available used strollers, car seats, high chairs and other baby gear?  Visit Trading Cradles and check out the listings in your area.  You can also connect with them on Facebook, follow them on Twitter, or read their blog.

Since I am on a big de-clutter kick, I have been giving away, donating or selling lots of baby items.  I have shipped off some gently used baby clothes to my niece and donated various burp clothes and crib bedding to local charities.  However, I am still left with a large selection of baby gear, clothing, shoes and accessories.  I know there's probably quite of bit of clothing in Lily's closet that needs to go, too.

Out of curiosity, I listed an item on Trading Cradles to see how it would go.  The listing process was very easy and my listing was approved very quickly.  You simply write a short description, upload a photo and that's it!  It is FREE to list and to buy an item.  Some sellers in the Atlanta area had clothing and other small items listed for free.  I think this is a great service for connecting parents or soon to be parents in your area.

I need to sort through the rest of our inventory and list them as "free" for someone else who might be able to use them.  Since Lily is finally staying dry in the night, I have several boxes of unused diapers and Pull-ups to pass on and I am certain I have some old crib bedding that we no longer need.  Maybe someone else can benefit from it!  Now, can someone tell me how to de-clutter all the toys and books that we have accumulated?

I like that it's specialized like that, unlike Craig's List, etc.
