I Actually Made a Tutu!

Lily has I have wanted a tutu for a while now.  So I finally made one using some great tutu instructions I found online.  Yes, I know it's crazy but even a CPA can be creative!
She wore it for all of 5 minutes, ran around the house with it, then said "let's make some more for my friends when they come over." Great. She's piling stuff on to my already-long TO DO list. Sigh.  But isn't she a doll?!  I'll be making some for her little girlfriends soon :)

Oooooh! I love this. I can't sew and am too cheap to shell out $70 bucks for a tutu on ebay or etsy, but I can do this. Thanks for linking to the tutorial.

Mini poem: Mommy to a Blossoming Ballerina
Oh the Blossoming Ballerina in all of us little girl females,
leads to the mommy tutu needing sewing machine tales,
which is still better than the-
Oh the emerging Football star in all of them little boy males,
leads to the mommy sticking on Scooby Doo bandaid tales.

CPA's are VERY creative, right? They have to make-up...oops, I mean, take advantage of all those tax breaks and loop holes for helping the average tax payer NOT owe anything come April 15th.

Also, you did 'sew'perb job on the tutu! Soon you'll be making curtains, sun dresses, and quilts! I'll be emailing you dress size and wish list! Great WORK! A Mother's work is NEVER done, that is for sure!

Yes, she is a doll, and good for you for making the tutu. You are talented even for a CPA (haha! You're funny!)
You know though, I suspect you can buy them at Walmart if the work gets too overwhelming when her friends each line up for one!

They are incredibly easy and fun to make aren't they? I made one for niece last year and sadly, Zoe is so NOT girly it's not even funny so that may be it for me. ;)

    Lily's hair is SO long!
