Just like her mommy, Lily likes things in their place and knows where everything belongs. The other day when we got home after work, I left my shoes somewhere and concentrated on hauling in groceries, purse, wet towel/suit/shoes from water day at daycare, stinky gym clothes, car sippy cup, etc. Once settled in the house, I spent a good 5 minutes walking around the house trying to find those dang shoes. I even checked the garage. Finally I hear a little voice ask me…
Lily: Mommy, what are you doing?
Me: I need my shoes baby; I can’t find them.
Lily: Oh, well. I put your shoes in the closet. WHERE THEY BELONG, Mommy.
